For block paving, we use a rotary surface cleaner — a disc-shaped attachment that spins two jets at high speed beneath a shroud. This produces an even, streak-free clean across the entire surface. After washing, kiln-dried sand is swept into the joints to restore stability and inhibit weed growth.

Natural stone (sandstone, limestone, slate) requires careful handling. We use lower pressure settings (100–150 bar) with a wider fan nozzle to avoid etching the stone surface. Pre-treatment does the heavy lifting on biological growth, reducing the pressure needed. Natural stone can be damaged by excessive pressure — experience and judgment are essential.
